The participants for the next SF6 CR Cup have been revealed. No Botan this time unfortunately but she'll likely do a watchalong stream for it. Towa and Aki will be there along with a bunch of other vtubers like Shibuya Hal, HonHima and Ririmu from Niji and a lot of VSPO girls. Seems like it'll be more beginner-oriented than past CR Cups.
Towa's team has both Niji girls, Sumire from VSPO and Karubi. Their captain is shuto, #1 ranked Marissa player.
Aki's team has Hinano and Toto from VSPO, Tsurugi from Neo-Porte and mittii, that guy who got temp-banned on Twitch for doing a sex tape with Matsuri (in GTA). Their captain is Kazunoko, multi-fighting game legend and champion.
Scrims start tomorrow and will last for 3 days, then the actual tournament happens on Sunday.
And Towa's streaming some practice right now! Though she's recovering from a cold so she's struggling a bit.
Her coach almost got murdered (jokingly) by her fans cause he hit on her earlier, to which she called him disgusting and had a good laugh. You'll get em next time, Tachi

Because the guys in the /meat/ threads were heavily into guro and ryona vtubers, writing fanfics about cannibalizing or beating up their oshi in a romantic/sexual way, etc. I remember /meat/ gaining a massive amount of popularity after Dentata Comma vent viral on Twitter. Not gonna mention here for what since it's pretty fucked up and by far not even the worst thing she's done to herself, but the people who were active at the time probably know what I'm talking about.
