Clara was one of the most successful foreign weebs, maybe the most. ArcJewel are big, when I saw them it was their own concert in front of thousands. Whereas Tone Jewel are the underground indie level where they're one part of a big live that's almost the equivalent of a western open mic night, and you can go along and be one of like three people who're there for that.

Doing a gravure video is in the idol space, but a lot of westerners wouldn't want to do it. The only ones I can think of who have are Gemma Cruel (now just goes by Gemma) who's actually got herself in a pretty established space where she pumps out dozens of gravure videos without sliding down into full-on porn, and Applemilk1988 ("Emiry") who did her "debut" and... appears to still be fleshtubing. I'm terrible at recognising voices (it took me literally months to realise who Kiara was) so either of those could've gone into vtubing, they're in the right space for it.

There's also June Lovejoy who's been looking to vtube for ages and said she's going to start this year, but she's more of an outright porn type, I don't know that she's ever done a soft gravure style video.

I really did love how expressive her 3d model was/is. This new model does look cool but I got used to her dorkier less gacha inspired design that its just weird to me imagine her in any other form. Its like that one episode in southpark where they turn into buff anime characters.

I watch DM from time to time and she's explained before that the program she used to use for her model, and thus the super detailed expressions, was abandoned by the dev. It would break all the time and crash, was absolutely riddled with bugs and finnicky as hell so it was extremely hard to work with. She's had to change apps which has caused the noticeable drop in expressiveness which is a damn shame since I'd say her old rig was the single best one out there with just how accurate it was.
